GUNUNGKIDUL, (KH),– Kecelakaan lalu lintas terjadi di ruas jalan Wonosari-Paliyan Senin (25/7/2022). Peristiwa yang terjadi sekitar pukul 08.30 WIB ini mengakibatkan korban meninggal dunia.
Kapolsek Paliyan, AKP Solechan menginformasikan, kecelakaan berupa mobil menabrak pohon tepatnya terjadi di wilayah Watugilang B, Kalurahan Mulusan, Kapanewon Paliyan, Kabupaten Gunungkidul.
“Kecelakaan tunggal dialami mobil Suzuki Carry pickup bernomor polisi AD 9788 RM. Mobil dikemudikan oleh Erda (22) warga Sodo, Paliyan, Gunungkidul,” terang Solechan.
Dijelaskan, mulanya mobil melaju dari arah barat atau Paliyan menuju arah timur (arah Wonosari). Setiba di lokasi kecelakaan mobil Suzuki Carry kehilangan kendali dan berbelok ke arah kanan atau selatan. Setelah itu menabrak pohon flamboyan.
“Usai kecelakaan pengemudi mengalami luka di bagian kepala. Kondisinya kritis,” terang kapolsek.
Saat itu, selain pengemudi terdapat satu penumpang lain yakni Sutikno (29). Warga Sodo, Paliyan ini mengalami luka di bagian kepala dan dada. Setelah kecelakaan kondisinya kritis lalu meninggal dunia di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) Wonosari.
Pihaknya menghimbau pengendara kendaraan agar senantiasa berhati-hati. (Kandar)
