GUNUNGKIDUL, (KH),– Warga Padukuhan Gedoro, Kalurahan Nglegi, Kapanewon Patuk, Gunungkidul kini tak kesulitan air bersih. Sebab, sumur bor berhasil dibangun di wilayah itu.
Bantuan sumur bur dari Dirjend Pajak Kanwil DIY yang disalurkan melalui Lembaga Amil Zakat, Yatim Mandiri menjawab kegelisahan warga atas kendala sulitnya mendapatkan air baku. Mengingat, padukuhan ini berada di atas perbuktian dan belum terjangkau akses air PDAM dari pemerintah.
Direktur Yatim Mandiri, Mutrofin mengatakan, bantuan sumur ini menjadi awal pembangunan sumur bur di Gunungkidul yang diprogramkan lembaganya. Kedepan diharapkan bantuan dapat diberikan di wilayah lain, khususnya wilayah yang kesulitan mendapatkan air bersih.
Sementara itu, Kepala Seksi Pengawasan, Direktorat Jendral Pajak DIY, Suparlan mengatakan, terwujudnya pembangunan sumur bur merupakan sumbangan donatur yang dikumpulkan melalui dewan kemakmuran masjid.
“Kemudian dana kita salurkan melalui lembaga amil zakat Yatim Mandiri. Semoga sumur dapat dimanfaatkan dengan baik dan memberikan berkah dan barokah bagi warga,” harapnya disela penyerahan, Rabu (27/7/2022).
Dalam kesempatan yang sama, Bupati Gunungkidul, Sunaryanta memberikan apresiasi dan terimakasih kepada seluruh pihak yang peduli dengan warga masyarakat Gunungkidul.
“Dengan kedalaman 40 meter, mampu dihasilkan debit air 1,5 liter per detik,” ungkap Sunaryanta.
Dengan debit sebanyak itu, diperkirakan mampu mencukupi kebutuhan hingga 1500 orang. Selain untuk konsumsi, dia berharap air juga dimanfaatkan untuk mengolah kebun.
“Pembangunan sumur bur atau sumber air baku ini menjadi salah satu upaya meningkatkan indek pembangunan manusia melalui kesehatan yang baik,” tukasnya. (Kandar)
